Welcome to WOHIS
The Windsor Occupational Health Information Service (WOHIS) is a community based occupational inquiry, video and referral service open to the entire community.
We service employees, employers, agencies and students in Windsor and Essex County.
Many workplaces are paying health and safety firms in order to be compliant under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The Windsor Occupational Health Information Service (WOHIS) can provide many of these services to your business, FREE of charge! As the official agent for the Ministry of Labour, we can provide any required legislation, policy procedures, and safety documents for your health and safety board. In addition, we can also sell the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Green Book) at a discounted price.
Our comprehensive health and safety on-line video lending library, the largest in Southwestern Ontario with over 450 videos to view and download free of charge for training and compliance, including WHMIS.
In cooperation with our sister organization, Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW), we offer expertise in the Health and Safety field, and can work closely with you to identify and solve health and safety concerns and issues specific to your business. Should you need assessments at your workplace, Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW) offers an Industrial Hygienist, Ergonomists, an Occupational Health Nurse, and a Physician; all of which are FREE of charge.
Why pay for Health and Safety services that are FREE through our organizations? Contact Windsor Occupational Health Information Service and Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW), and we will work together to optimize the health and safety of your workplace.
